After several months of looking for a new home, it had become an agonizing experience which lead to approaching Karen at a neighbourhood open house one Sunday frantically asking for help with a CMA for our home. It was quite by accident that we were teamed up with Karen Copland, but I wanted to send a BIG THANK YOU for putting us together. My husband and I had decided it was probably time to think about downsizing and knew it would take some time to find something special enough to make us leave the home that we have loved for 37 years. A house that we found from the lot stage on up. One that sits beautifully on a ravine that my husband built a beautiful gazebo on (which we refer to as "the cottage"). He put in a pool for our family to enjoy in the summers along with a pool bar where we entertain friends. We just walked in and knew instantly that this was the home we are going to be happy in for the next stage in our lives. Each time Karen takes us back it only reinforces that this was the right decision for us. She said it once while we were going through the selling of our house - "We make a good team" and I believe she's right. Once she managed to get our new house for us it was then selling our home which she did with experienced professionalism. We bought our home in October, but she knew that we should wait until the New Year to sell ours and within 5 days the SOLD sign was on for over asking.
